HOW MUCH ARE SESSIONS? DO YOU TAKE INSURANCE?
Marriage counseling sessions are $200/hour. We also offer 2 hour intensives at $400 depending on schedule availability.
Individual sessions are 1 hour and cost $120
We are not in network with insurance and don't submit out of network claims. We can provide you necessary paperwork if you choose to submit paperwork to your insurance company for reimbursement. Insurance typically doesn't cover any couples counseling.
Payment is billed automatically after your appointment with a card we'll keep on file.
WHAT SHOULD WE PREPARE FOR OUR FREE INITIAL CONSULTATION?
The first session is free and a chance to come in and tell us more about what you're struggling with and what your goals are. We'll have a lot of information to share with you and things for you to consider if you choose to move forward.
WHAT IF MY SPOUSE DOESN'T WANT TO GO TO COUNSELING? CAN I WORK INDIVIDUALLY WITH YOU?
Yes. We are happy to have a consultation with just you and hear more about your marriage and your spouse's reluctance. If we think we can help, we'll work with you individually for 4 weeks to see if you are able to make changes that improve your relationship and/or engage your spouse in coming to counseling. Individual sessions are $120 for 60Â minutes.
HOW LONG ARE SESSIONS? HOW FREQUENTLY SHOULD WE MEET?
Marriage counseling sessions are one or two hours, depending on your goals and budget. The 2-hour intensives are spent with the first hour working individually with your counselor, and the second hour spent with both of us coaching you and your spouse together.
We can meet weekly, bi-weekly or monthly. We place a lot of emphasis on homework between sessions, so that may factor into how frequently you want to meet.
