Meet Elizabeth

I’m Elizabeth Saviteer, a licensed mental health counselor and certified nutritionist with over a decade of experience helping teens and adults recover from anxiety, depression, and eating disorders—and reengage with their lives in meaningful ways.

Anyone seeking therapy is at a turning point. Something isn’t working anymore. You don’t want to stay stuck, but you’re unsure how to move forward.

My approach blends empathy and compassion with practical tools for getting unstuck. Clients often describe me as gentle but honest. Sometimes I offer validation. Other times, I’ll challenge you to look at things differently—always with care and clarity.

My goal is for you to gain the insight, confidence, and direction to move forward with purpose. I won’t tell you what to do—but I’ll help you connect to the inner wisdom that already knows the way.

The tools I draw from include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), narrative therapy, mind-body integration, values-based decision making, and ADHD-informed strategies. Together, we’ll find what works best for you.

I believe in God and try to follow Jesus, but I don’t insist that my clients share my beliefs. I recognize that spirituality is as unique as the person who holds it, and I invite you to bring your own faith to this work in whatever way is meaningful to you.

I do this work because I’ve lived it. I’ve experienced and recovered from depression, disordered eating, perfectionism, and more than a few existential crises. I’ve learned how to work with my own mind and nervous system to move through stuckness with more grace, humor, and freedom—and I want the same for you.

On a lighter note: I love to laugh and have fun, play the banjo (badly), read good books, and explore the beauty of the Inland Pacific Northwest.
